Kinetic are not currently offering a range of transponders

The annoucements by the CAA and EASA regarding the mandatory requirement for the carriage of a lightweight transponder, have seen the timescales move several times.

In order to certify any form of avionics, a MOPS (Minimum Operational Performance Specification) must be produced by the regulatory authorities for manufacturers to deliver and test against.

This has not yet been produced, and although Kinetic have designed, developed and demonstrated a working lightweight, low cost and low powered solution, due to the lack of the certification standards being issued by the regulatory authority, neither ourselves nor any other company is able to certify such a product.

When such a standard is eventually produced we will re-visit the requirement.
