Combining state-of-the art electronics and new technological advances has enabled Kinetic Avionic Products Limited to the produce the revolutionary SBS-1.

The SBS-1 is a portable low-cost Mode-S/ADS-B Receiving Station designed for training and the aviation enthusiast. It is supplied complete with antenna and Basestation Virtual Radar software. The SBS-1 allows you to track ADS-B aircraft on the radar screen and identifies and displays Mode-S equipped aircraft.

For the first time aircraft enthusiasts worldwide are able to directly monitor the skies in an unprecedented fashion.

Coupled with the K.A.P.L. Lightweight Aviation SSR Transponder (L.A.S.T), the SBS-1 can be an invaluable tool in flight training operations. Furthermore, it can also be used for ATC training.

NEW: ETHERNET ADD-ON
The Kinetic Ethernet Add-on for the SBS-1 is a unique self-fit module that fits snugly inside the SBS-1 mk1 & mk2. Orders are being taken for first deliveries in May with an introductory price of only £79.95 inc VAT.

What will the module allow me to do?

With the additional module it enables the user to connect via USB (standard) or Ethernet.
You can now connect to your SBS via your home network or over the internet. If you have fixed IP you can watch your SBS-1 activity from any location in the world!
It also means of course that you can view the SBS from any PC on your home or office network.
The permutations of what you can do with wireless routers and fixed IP addresses are endless.
