Impossible even for Kinetic

Without established ground stations and a "controlled" network Mlat can't be accomplished. :(

Experience shows that a series of at least 40 ground stations is required to cover the UK down to about 2000 feet.....even more for low level coverage.

By my reckoning thats getting on for £100,000 of kit plus humungous server costs and all the hassle of setting up a network.
Not very cost effective , especially when you can get PP for a few quid.

Slightly delayed it may be , but for airways traffic it is "out the window " accurate.

If you would like to provide a secure server capable of taking the Planeplotter load , I'm sure Bev will be happy to give you real time Mlat :shock: ....Subject to stringent security checks of course :)
